Here are the dimensions and basics:
- Cut card stock to 3"x11", out of 12x12 you can get 4. From an 8 1/2x11 you can get 2 out.
- Score at 3" and 7".
- Before folding and gluing create the faux stitching by paper piercing along the sides. Connect the holes with the white gel pen to create the look of stitching without a sewing machine. Yep, my kind of sewing :-)
- Use 1" circle punch to notch out 3" flap before gluing. Use thin lines of Tombow glue to adhere the flap.
- To make the belly band, cut Designer Series Paper 6 1/2"x 2 1/2" wrap around holder and adhere in back. Decorate front how you like. Here I used the Joyful Christmas Wishes greetings along with 2 1/2" circle punch and Decorative Label punch. Add a rhinestone to dot the i. Super cute!
With our boys in their teenage years, gift cards are the best ever. And why not a wallet style holder to boot?! You can do this up in pinks and girly colors too.
